I am incredibly happy and delighted to introduce my brand new project that I have been working on : ‘Pride Friends’.
Being part of the LGBTQ+ community and someone who cares about mental health, this design and the individual characters are to highlight visibility and representation. I wanted something that would improve our mental health by being proud of who we are. I came up with the concept, ideas, characters for this project and brought in someone to finish the final designs. My idea came from the want to do more for the community and my love of cartoons when I was child. I used to watch a cartoon show with 7 different colour characters so I coupled that with pride As I have gotten older, I want to do more to: combat body stereotypes, challenge discrimination and encourage understanding among people from diverse backgrounds. This project and characters are from my heart and for us.
